This 200-hour YTT is an invitation to immerse yourself in the transformative power of yoga teaching. With an emphasis on Yoga Philosophy and a deep dive into Asana training based on the dynamic flow of Vinyasa and the grounding, alignment-based principles of Hatha this comprehensive program is perfect for aspiring teachers and practitioners of all levels looking to deepen their practice, expand their knowledge, and cultivate the confidence to share these teachings.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training overview
A deep dive into:
Vinyasa: understand the art of linking breath with movement to create a dynamic, mindful practice that builds strength and flexibility. learn to design sequences that foster a deep connection with and between body and breath.
Hatha Yoga: Gain a strong foundation in alignment (The positioning of your bones and joints relative to each other), posture (The outward appearance of your body position), and breath (pranayama) - emphasizing stability, balance, and concentration. Focus on learning sequence and alignment of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) A and B fluently.
Yoga Philosophy: Dive into the ancient teachings of yoga, exploring key texts and tenets such as the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, and the three bodies of Vedanta Philosophy discussing how these timeless principles apply to modern life and teaching.
Workshops and practices focused on:
Anatomy & Physiology: Learn the fundamentals of Anatomy covering the different bodily systems (digestive, skeletal, muscular, respiratory, circulatory, and more), as well as how the body moves and how to keep your students safe through proper alignment, covering common injuries, joint mobility, and
functional human anatomy. All bodies are different and this awareness will allow you to find Asanas for ALL bodies.
Teaching Skills: Develop the skills to communicate with confidence and authenticity. Learn how to teach safe, engaging classes that cater to different levels and abilities, using modifications and variations. Including sequencing, asana queuing, practice with observation and demonstration, and more.
Hands-on Teaching Practice: Extensive teaching practicum will allow you to practice guiding students, offering adjustments, and refining your teaching style with personalized feedback to further your confidence as a new teacher.
Pranayama: Our teacher training offers an in-depth exploration of pranayama and advanced breathwork practices, bridging ancient wisdom with modern science. You'll gain a comprehensive understanding of how these techniques influence the nervous system, promoting balance and resilience. Through guided practice and study, you'll learn to harness the breath to regulate stress, enhance mental clarity, and support overall well-being.
Meditation: Understand the importance of dedicated meditation practice and teachings, offering tools to cultivate mindfulness, inner stillness, and mental clarity. You’ll explore various meditation techniques, their benefits, and how to skillfully guide others in this transformative practice, enriching both your personal journey and your teaching expertise.

Abby brings a wealth of experience and passion to the program. With over five years of teaching experience and 750+ hours of training, Abby has dedicated herself to deepening her knowledge and sharing the transformative power of yoga with others.
As an Ayurvedic practitioner, Abby seamlessly blends ancient holistic wisdom with modern practices, providing a unique perspective that enhances her teaching. Her deep love for yoga philosophy is woven into her classes and she hopes to inspire students to explore the profound teachings that extend beyond the mat. Abby believes yoga is not just about movement but about cultivating a deeper connection to oneself and the world around us.
Her teaching style is rooted in creating an environment where movement feels intuitive, joyful, and nourishing. Abby is passionate about helping students discover how to listen to their bodies, honor their unique needs, and experience the freedom and balance yoga can offer.
